Ripples

 

Always getting away with

mischief.

 

Splitting the surface and

breaking the bonds

that hold the water

together.

 

Laughing, as its body

expands,

circling

the broken floor of

pure wetness.

Its fellow ripples

following his lead.

 

then finally cracking, turning

back into the calm untouched

surface of

water.
